Set Your Intention
College participants
Sharing your name and email is optional. If you provide them, we use them only to send your intention reminder and the one-month follow-up — nothing else. Your responses are connected to an anonymous link code, not your name, so the study data itself contains no identifying information. Your zip code, if shared, places your intention on our map as a point, never as a person.
High school participants
Your participation is anonymous by design. High school intention cards are paper-based and collect no names, no emails, no identifying information of any kind. What reaches us is your intention and your responses — nothing more.
For everyone
We will never sell, share, or trade your information. Stories are published only with your explicit consent, and only in the form you approve. If you'd like your information removed at any point, write to us and it will be done.
One Simple Thing is a research project as much as a movement, and we treat your trust as part of the data. Despair is not a strategy. Neither is carelessness with the people who trust us.
